Angela received her formal training from Booker T. Washington High School of Performing and Visual Arts, Interlochen Arts Camp, Meadows School of the Arts at SMU, the Martha Graham Center for Contemporary Dance, and Virginia School of the Arts. In 1997 she Co-Founded Ground Level Dance Company and served as Co-Artistic Director for 3 years. While living in New York Angela presented her choreography and performed in a variety of venues. Here in Dallas she has choreographed for and danced with Ground Level Dance Company, New World Ballet, Dancers Unlimited, Circo de Garcia, and CD/FW. Most recently she has Co-Founded phoenixdancetheatre.
